The Roloketju, more commonly known as Papuketju, is a familiar type of chain for Finns.
The chain of links resembles an anchor chain, but the shape of an individual link is usually that of the letter D. So the outer edge of the link is rounded, while the inner edge is flat.
The chain type likely originated from the shape of a ring, which has traditionally also resembled the letter D. There are several different variations of Papuketjusta available on the market.
The thin version of the paper chain is delicate and suitable for most small or medium-sized pendants. The thickness of this chain is 2.5 mm, making it best suited for use as is (without a pendant).
Width 2.5 mm.
Available in three different lengths:
- 41 cm (women's shorter model)
- 46 cm (women's approx. standard length)
- 51 cm (women's slightly longer model)
Made in Italy. Italy is the most esteemed country for the production of silver and gold chains, where both centuries-old craftsmanship and modern manufacturing techniques are utilized.
