Drop Earrings

Dangling earrings add character and frame the face

With dangling earrings, it's easy to add flair and style to your look. They catch the eye and express the personality of the wearer. Silver and gold dangling earrings provide a classically beautiful, credible, and, when needed, a festive appearance without being overly flashy.

Silver dangling earrings are easy to wear

Silver dangling earrings are popular for their beautiful light color, durability, and ease of use. In our silver jewelry, we use purified recycled silver, depending on the model, up to 100%. Dangling earrings are suitable for many who, for one reason or another, cannot wear stud earrings, as the hook does not press into the earlobe as much. In other words, the earlobe has more room to 'breathe,' and any dirt cannot accumulate.

Gold dangling earrings exude elegance

Gold earrings give a valuable appearance and reflect the wearer. It is not entirely wrong to say that the wearer of gold earrings appreciates classic, timeless elegance. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but elegance is universal.

Dangling earrings in various sizes

There is a wide selection of dangling earrings in different sizes, from small and delicate to large and striking hook earrings. The most popular size is the so-called medium size, about 3 cm long, which is sufficiently eye-catching yet still suitable for everyday wear.

Care for silver dangling earrings

Taika Helsinki's silver dangling earrings are generally protected against tarnishing and remain shiny for a long time with minimal maintenance. The best result is achieved by choosing the so-called rhodium-plated earring, where the silver is practically tarnish-free and retains its original hue (the hue is the same as that of white gold, whose surface is also rhodium). Rhodium increases the price of the stud earring by only about 10%, but at the same time, you gain long-lasting ease of use. Rhodium is equally safe, if not safer, than silver in terms of allergies. Since silver is one of the lightest metals, our earrings do not stretch the earlobe. Avoid heavy earrings for the aforementioned reason.

You can add extra flair by choosing a silver dangling earring combined with rose gold or yellow gold. This is referred to as a so-called two-tone earring. A two-tone piece is easy to pair with, for example, a watch or necklace in rose gold or yellow gold tones, making it versatile. Two-tone design also adds more personality to the earrings. The thickness of the gold plating is about 2 microns, depending on the model, which gives the plating a long lifespan.
