What color gold ring suits your skin? This is, of course, a matter of taste, but generally speaking, yellow gold suits warm skin tones well, while white gold is a good match for cool skin tones. Rose gold has also been a fashionable color for the past decade, but the long-term trend seems to favor yellow gold in the coming years.

How to identify a genuine gold ring? Genuine gold is always stamped. Inside the ring, you'll find a stamp indicating the gold content. e.g. 375, 585, or 750 indicate the gold content in thousandths. For example, 585 means 585/1000, which corresponds to 14k gold, and so on. Similarly, 375 corresponds to 9K gold and 750 corresponds to 18K gold.

Does a gold ring retain its monetary value? Sure, gold retains its monetary value, but jewelry always includes the value of craftsmanship as well. You can get more for an 18K gold ring than for a 9K ring of the same weight. However, since an 18K ring also costs significantly more when new, it cannot be said that a higher carat amount will yield proportionally more when resold. Regardless of the carat amount, the value of the jewelry decreases proportionally compared to the purchase price.

That's why we prefer 9K gold rings. They are genuine gold rings and, when used properly, they last a long time. They can be repaired and maintained. However, their purchase price is more affordable than 14K or 18K rings, yet they still provide the same feeling and joy to the wearer.
