The stone sits in a four-claw setting that lets it sparkle. The pendant has a sturdy bail with room for a slightly thicker chain if you prefer.

The meaning of the shapes: round, rounded square and drop
The collection comes in three pendant shapes: round, drop and rounded square. The shape is set by the month, so each stone has a character of its own.

- The round shape is whole and endless. It speaks of continuity, and of the important things we carry with us from year to year.

- The rounded square is steady and calm, like a solid foundation to build on and return to.

- The drop is like morning dew that wakes new growth. It speaks of fresh beginnings and everything still to come.

I wanted to design a birthstone piece that grows with life. The round, drop and square shapes sit beautifully side by side, so you can gather the whole family's stones on one chain and add a new one as the family grows. The open claw setting holds the stone securely and lets light in from the sides too, so the stone shines brightly.
