Allergy-friendly silver dangling earrings are popular due to their beautiful light color, durability, and ease of use. In our silver jewelry, we use purified recycled silver, depending on the model, 10 – 50%. Dangle earrings are suitable for many who, for one reason or another, cannot wear stud earrings, as the hook does not press against the skin of the earlobe as forcefully. In other words, the skin of the earlobe has more space to "breathe" and any potential dirt cannot fester.

There is a wide selection of dangling earrings available in various sizes, from small and delicate to large and striking hook earrings. The most popular size is the so-called medium size, approximately 3 cm long earring model, which is sufficiently eye-catching yet still suitable for everyday use.

The silver dangling earrings from Taika Helsinki are usually protected against tarnishing and they remain shiny for a long time with minimal maintenance. The best result is achieved by choosing a so-called rhodium-plated earring, where the silver is practically completely non-tarnishing and retains its original hue (the hue is the same as that of white gold, whose surface is also rhodium-plated). Rhodium increases the price of stud earrings by only about 10%, but at the same time, you get long-lasting ease of use. Rhodium is equally safe, if not safer, than silver in terms of allergies. Since silver is one of the lightest metals, our earrings do not stretch the earlobe. Avoid heavy earrings for the reason mentioned above.

You can add extra flair by choosing a silver dangling earring that is combined with rose gold or yellow gold. This is referred to as a so-called two-tone earring. A two-tone piece of jewelry is easy to pair with, for example, a rose gold or yellow gold watch or necklace, making it versatile. The two-tone design adds more personality to the earrings. We only use genuine 9-14 carat gold. The thickness of the gold plating is approximately 2 microns, depending on the model, which gives the gold plating a long lifespan.

For lovers of colorful dangling earrings, the best option is a genuine gemstone earring or an earring with a colored Swarovski crystal. The most popular gemstones in jewelry are purple amethyst, gray moonstone, blue lapis lazuli, pink and blue chalcedony, and black onyx. Swarovski stud earrings are available in several different shades.

Bright gemstone dangling earrings are usually adorned with zirconia gemstones. Zirconia is harder than, for example, crystal, and therefore a more suitable material for jewelry. As a harder material, it can be polished into the same shape as gemstones.
