The Golden Cordell chain is one of the most classic women's necklaces. The chain is also known as Rope or Prince of Wales. The word "Cordell" derives from the word "Cord," which means rope or string.
The Cordell chain is part of the broader group of anchor chains, but while an anchor chain has one link after another, the Cordell chain features two or more links twisted together. This creates an elegant and three-dimensional necklace.
The Cordell chain is typically worn without a pendant as a necklace. However, it can also be used as a pendant chain if needed.
Lengths: 46, 51, and 56 cm
The chain thickness is 1.5 mm. The chain features a sturdy lobster clasp. Made in Italy.
Note! This is solid material, meaning it is not "hollow". Most wider chains on the market are hollow, making them more susceptible to damage. A hollow chain is lighter, meaning it contains less gold.
