The curb chain is a favorite chain among Finns.

The roloketju, or more commonly known as the curb chain, is a familiar type of chain for Finns.

The curb chain resembles an anchor chain, but the shape of an individual link is usually in the form of the letter D. This means that the outer edge of the link is rounded, while the inner edge is flat.

The chain type likely originated from the shape of a ring, which has traditionally also resembled the initial D. There are several different variations of the chain available on the market.

In its thin version, the curb chain is delicate and suitable for most small or medium-sized pendants. Thicker models are used as a necklace on their own.
