The Roloketju, also known as the Papuketju, is a familiar chain type to Finns.
The cable chain resembles an anchor chain, but the shape of each individual link is usually D-shaped. So, the outer edge of the link is rounded, while the inner edge is flat.
The chain type likely originated from the shape of a ring, which traditionally also resembles the letter D. There are several different variations of the chain necklace available on the market.
As a thin version, the chain is delicate and suitable for most small to medium-sized pendants. The thickness of this chain is 1.7 mm.
